Elk Prairie is one of our top camping destinations. This year we had to bypass one of our stops in Redding due to fires. We love to stop in Redding to fill a couple hours at Enterprise Park. It breaks up the long drive for us. There are plenty of nature trails within the park but we love to venture out of the park as well. We always visit the Trees of Mystery, Fern Canyon trail, Tour through tree and The Klamath Jet Boat tours. This year we added a stop on the way home to break up the drive at Confusion Hill. I highly recommend this trip. It’s a little over a six hour drive for us but it’s well worth it.
