Here’s my first review of freeze dried camping-type food. I have to say that I’m not particularly knowledgeable in this area, but I’m learning. I thought both these dishes (Breakfast Skillet and Chili Mac and Beef were excellent). Mountain House obviously knows what they’re doing. I made a couple of rookie mistakes with these, but I figure it’s all part of the learning curve. As an added bonus (and sort of as a comparison between freeze dried and reconstituted versions of the food, we also try out a Mountain House Freeze dried Ice Cream Sandwich! All of these items were sent to me by very generous subscriber Garrett Cody.
