Bicycle Camping in Southeastern Michigan in November is challenging because of the erratic weather. I knew it was going to start raining and keep raining all weekend, but I wanted to try out a new tarp, so I packed my bike Wilson and we headed out into the unknown.
In this video I make some bacon and bannock on my alcohol stove, show you an outhouse that vandals haven’t discovered, break camp and make camp in the rain, and tell you why exactly I love camping. I also accidentally poke a hole in my Thermarest mattress, which I’ll repair in another video. But this one is good because I face adversity, deliberately, and come through smiling.
