Part two of the kayak camping trip on Holmes creek. After a nice paddle down we set up camp listening to the rumble of thunder to the west. Not 30 minutes after finishing set up the skies opened up and we got hammered with 2-3 hours of rain. Once the storm moves out we were blessed with a nice cool evening in camp which is a rare deal for mid August in Florida. We did some scouting for fishing spots for the next day we settled into camp for some rainwater, perculator, campfire, Dunkin Donuts coffee, some country style pork and beans, and some skillet cooked corned beef hash.
