CAMPING IN THE RAIN
It was a rainy day. I had already packed my gear the night before. I was having second thoughts because I’d never pitched a tent in the monsoons. I mustered up some courage and decided to leave anyway and ended up discovering one of the most beautiful experiences of my life.

There is a spot in Ranka, East Sikkim, which is a 15 kilometre hike from my place in Gangtok. We had packed a tent, some food, and
sleeping bags and we hiked all the way up to the mountains.

There were three of us in this trip. Although it was raining, nature was not so harsh on us. We managed to put up a decent fire and cook without much trouble. As soon as the rains stopped, the billowing clouds moved away and revealed, what according to me is the most beautiful view of Gangtok City.

I hope you enjoy watching this video, and support me in unravelling the beauty of Sikkim.

“Every one wants you to forget that you’re gonna die, because if they convince you that you’re gonna die, you waste your time doing what they want you to do, spend money on what they are selling. One day I am going to die, but before then I am gonna LIVE LIVE LIVE they way I am gonna live.” ~ Mike Posner
