Overnight Forest Camp in a Hot Tent. Wood Stove Tent Heater. Chinese Pork and Fried Noodles.

In this video, I head I am out for a New Years solo overnight camp in the woods in my hot tent. A nice hike up the Peddars Way brings me to a secluded pine forest where I can reset amongst the hushed trees.

After setting up my tent and tent heater, I collect firewood and process it down just as the light begins to fade and the rain starts. A delicious dinner of Chinese style pork and fried noodles, washed down with a couple of strong beers and Im ready to crawl into my sleeping bag.

Morning brings brighter weather, coffee and black pudding for breakfast before packing up and heading back the way I came.

A delightful night out in the woods – just what was needed after my Christmas break.
