Frankinmuth Michigan Camping “Secret Spot” St. Lorenz, we take you to Frankenmuth Michigan for a great secret spot camping location. This campground St. Lorenz is one of the most friendly camping spots we have ever camped at. This church run campground is just walking distance from the downtown area and all that Frankenmuth has to offer.
A church run “first come, first serve” campground with hookups for $35 bucks a night is amazing! The host is super friendly the the spots are shady and well cared for. With hot showers and clean bathrooms you can’t ask for more. They have a generous helping of firewood for $5 you can roast marshmallows till morning light.
We stayed in site #16 it was a great site for our needs and we loved it so much we extended our stay to enjoy this great campground.
The park hosts a great “Prayer trail” walk in the woods to the rear of the property, a great short walk to reflect on life and nature complete with benches to rest.
Most of the sites are electric and water hook up, and there is a dump station and freshwater fill as well located at the entrance.
If you are looking for a nice quiet close to the action campground near Frankenmuth we highly recommend St. Lorenz Campground.
