Mike Pullen gives you a full review of the Bahco Laplander Folding Saw (396LAP) and he puts it to the test on logs of different diameters. The blade itself is made of high quality Sandvik steel. It has a non-stick protecting coating which helps the blade to glide through when cutting and prevents the blade from bending when sawing on the downward stroke. The Bahco XT toothing cut in both directions when sawing. The blade has a lock system on both the open and close. The weight is around 200g, the blade length is 7.5 inches and overall length when sheathed is around 9 inches. It also has the option of a lanyard.
