Fortunately for us there are so many amazing campsites just minutes away, making a weekend camp getaway so easy. You can find campgrounds near lakes and rivers, some with amazing hiking trails and others that allow you to bring your water crafts in for some fun on the water. There are other campsites that are more primitive with no running water or electricity to make you feel like you have stepped back in time.
Whatever your style of camping the most important thing besides safety is making lifelong memories with your family and friends, so get out there and pitch a tent.
