Apache Canyon is one of numerous overnight quick camping destinations north of Los Angeles. Many who visit take advantage of hunting and off road vehicle opportunities.
Apache Canyon was not our intended destination. On this adventure we ran into and armed group of militia-looking psychos who greeted us while we were out foraging for wood with rifles… so we moved to Apache Canyon as an alternative destination.
The terrain is much better suited for dirtbikes and ATV’s than Jeeps. Enjoy.
