The Black Diamond Distance FLZ Trekking Poles are fast to deploy, lightweight in your hand, and pack away small and light enough to fit inside your daypack – perfect for any adventure.
These compact poles are constructed from aluminium and have three sections. Inside is a Kevlar cord connecting all segments, while extending the poles takes a simple release-and-pull action until the Slidelock clicks into place – keeping the bottom section of the pole securely locked into place. This model is 30% stiffer than previous designs to offer more support for your joints. Folding the poles is easy – simply release the Slidelock, and the tension on the kevlar cord is relieved to allow easy folding for transport.
