If your tent has seen one too many expeditions and needs to be patched up before it can weather another storm, we show you how to get it waterproof and ready for adventure again.
In this video, our gear expert Lauren shows you how to re-waterproof the seams, inside of your tent and tent fly. She starts out by showing you what a seam failure looks like and the adhesive options you have. After that, Lauren cleans the area with alcohol, brushes on the adhesive, and lets it dry.
Then she moves onto telling you how to tell if the inside of your tent is failing, the process for re-waterproofing the inside of your tent, and finishes up with demonstrating how to re-waterproof your tent fly – so check it out above for all the details.
