Here’s a look at the 2019 gathering! We had a great time and enjoyed meeting new friends and learning new skills. This is definitely a gathering worth going to and it’s only going to get bigger and bigger! It is held the first weekend of May at Lumberman’s Monument near Oscoda, MI. There is great camping available and it is located on the beautiful Au Sable River. Some of this years’ topics included fire starting, knives, blacksmithing, wild edibles, shelters, cordage, flint snapping, throwing an atlatl, making an ax handle, fly fishing, and much MORE!
If you like bushcraft and survival, camping, adventure, good food, campfires, and great fun…. you should consider going next year!
