This time, my beloved wife and I plus a friend camped near a small river. This was our second time camping here. We left the house early for fear of rain on the way. And sure enough, after the tents were completed it rained heavily.
We had not time to dig a ditch so that rainwater would not flood the tents. We didn’t even have time to tighten the tarp rope that we installed so that the tarp was barely strong enough to hold back the pouring rain. Luckily, we quickly tightened each tarp rope.
Heavy rain flushed the tent until late afternoon. After that, the weather returned to sunny so we could do activities like making hammocks. And at night we can make a bonfire.
For the food menu, we made beef saikoro for dinner. As for breakfast we make delicious eggs, sausages and broccoli. When we were about to go home, it was raining heavily again. Luckily, it didn’t rain for too long even though it flooded the river.

NOT SOLO CAMPING • CAMPING IN POURING RAIN BY THE CREEK • RELAXING CAMPING IN HEAVY RAIN
Kali ini, saya dan istri tercinta plus seorang teman berkemah di dekat sungai kecil. Ini merupakan kali kedua kami berkemah disini. Kami berangkat dari rumah lebih awal karena takut hujan di tengah perjalanan. Dan benar saja, setelah tenda selesai dibangun hujan deras pun turun.
Kami belum sempat membuat parit agar air hujan tidak membanjiri tenda. Kami bahkan belum sempat mengencangkam tali tarp yang kami pasang sehingga tarp nyaris tidak kuat menahan derasnya air hujan. Beruntung, kami dengan cepat mengencangkan setiap tali tarp.
Hujan deras mengguyur tenda hingga sore hari. Setelah itu, cuaca kembali cerah sehingga kami bisa beraktivitas seperti membuat hammock. Dan di malam hari kami pun bisa membuat api unggun.
Untuk menu makanan, camping kali ini kami membuat saikoro daging sapi untuk makan malam. Sedangkan untuk sarapan kami membuat telur, sosis serta brokoli yang lezat. Saat kami mau pulamg, hujan sangat deras kembali turun. Beruntung, hujan tidak turun terlalu lama meski membuat air sungai banjir.
