Our favorite fruits to take camping – raw food vegan diet

CAMPING FOOD
The best camping fruit to take:

Melons (they are comfortable living on the floor in the backseat, no need to keep cold. Bonus: they are super hydrating for hot summer days and adventures. Honeydew is my fave, watermelon is Nate’s fave but we will bring any melons! They are a staple for camping)

Apples (great camping food all around. Doesn’t need a cooler, super easy to throw in a backpack, hearty, filling and always yum!)

Citrus (also doesn’t need a cooler! Fresh, hydrating, easy to cut or peel and great options for sweet yums)

Mangoes (don’t really need a cooler unless getting super ripe. Mega filling and sweet. Easy to eat with hands or spoon. Sticky so bring rags and water as usual)

Grapes and blueberries (makes for great car or traveling snacks! Super sweet and loaded with calories to satiate. Hydrating and satiating just wash before leaving and keep in the cooler. Eat the first couple days)
