Our first camping trip of the season was to Rend Lake! It is a beautiful lake in central southern Illinois with many lakefront spots. We had a large, electric only site that had an amazing view! Things to do include the visitor’s center, spillway, walking trails, bike trails, archery range, hunting and water sports. In the summer months, there is a beach.
