About 12 free campsites southwest of Prescott, Arizona
Directions – South of Prescott on State Highway 89 towards Yarnell, Arizona. Around milepost 307 turn onto ponderosa road south continue through ponderosa park subdivision making 2 left turns. Road will turn into dirt after deer trail road. Dispersed camping sites in prescott national forest will be within a mile on dirt road continuing for about 5 miles. Follow all prescott national forest guidelines and only camp for free at marked sites for dispersed camping.
