Zero Waste Camping + Hiking | Acadia National Park | Hike Bubble Rock + Beehive Trail

ZERO WASTE CAMPING
Welcome to Tea with Frankie!

We spent a week camping zero waste in Acadia National Park along the Seawall. Here is Day Three of our plastic free adventure : Hiking the Beehive Trail + Bubble Rock where we ended the day at camp along the Seawall.

It was stunningly beautiful in Acadia Maine, the weather was gorgeous, the hiking was amazing, and the mosquitoes were cruel. So it goes.

It is not too hard to camp zero waste and if you are interested, I’ll make a video on all the recipes and prep work we did to make our camping experience as low waste as possible.

Pro tip: If you freeze your food in jars, wrap them in bandanas or towels before placing them in the cooler, or else you’ll arrive at camp with a bunch of frozen jars fused together. It thawed though, so all was well! LOL!
